Working in BGC has been an exhilarating journey for me. At first, I approached the area with skepticism, as it was entirely new to me. However, my curiosity piqued when I encountered the name “BGC.” Renowned for its high cost of living, I found myself grappling with important questions: What income do you need to thrive in BGC? What is daily life really like here? Is it truly safe? When I discovered that BGC would be my workplace, my questions intensified.
What I cherish most about my experience in BGC is the lush greenery that envelops the area. The abundant trees provide a refreshing escape from the sweltering heat of Manila, creating a more pleasant atmosphere on sunny days. When it comes to dining, BGC is a culinary paradise, offering a diverse range of options that are sure to delight any food lover. I can’t wait to share my adventures exploring the various food hubs I’ve visited.
Overall, living and working in BGC has been a truly enjoyable experience. I am captivated by the breathtaking views of the mini forest from our building and the stunning landscape of the American cemetery that stretches beyond our expansive windows. Initially, I imagined it was intended for ecotourism, but I later learned otherwise. BGC is not just a place to live and work; it’s a vibrant community that continually inspires me.
